Rockaway Beach
Inspired by salt air, boardwalk rides, and retro surf culture, this proposed mural for the MTA was designed to bring the energy of Rockaway Beach into the urban landscape.
Originally intended for a freeway underpass, the installation was ultimately paused due to the COVID-19 pandemic and adapted into a framed print. The final artwork preserved the spirit of the concept while transforming it into a more accessible format.
