Amazon Herald Square
Located in Amazon’s Herald Square offices, this three-story stairwell mural transformed an internal workplace space into an interactive visual experience inspired by the New York Herald’s famous Central Park Zoo hoax.
The mural incorporated a custom 3M dichroic film applied to the stairwell glass, creating a shifting color-filtering effect that revealed hidden animals and messages as visitors moved through the space. Large-scale big cat neon installations greeted employees at each elevator lobby, extending the concept throughout the office.
I developed the creative direction and visual system for the installation, blending historical references, environmental design, and interactive elements to create a playful moment of discovery within the workplace.
